This energetic gal is Alexis, an 11 month old fawn dobergirl with natural
ears and a docked tail, rather petite for a dobergirl. Alexis is a very
sweet girl with lots of personality, dancing around in her crate or
"flipping through the air" while out running. However, she calms down
when she spends time with her foster mom. She's confident and can be
outgoing. She was surrendered with her brother,Ozzie, due to their family
not having enough time for them. They have been around kids of all ages
and done well. They are currently living with cats in their foster home
and, although they would not harm them, they would chase after them if
given the chance. We are working on putting weight onto both of them as
they are pretty skinny. As any young dog, she would benefit from some
obedience classes and should pick it up quickly as she is a very smart
dobergirl. Although they came in together, Alexis and Ozzie can be
adopted... Visitors are always welcome, by appointment only. NOTE: An adoption application MUST be submitted in order to be considered to adopt a dog through our program. |
