Baby Girl

Baby Girl is a Doberman/Rottweiler mix, female. She is about 1 year old. Her ears and tail are natural, and it is a joy to see that long, pretty tail wagging.

She is a very sweet girl, but still very afraid. She came out of an abusive home where the man beat her. My kind neighbors paid them $100 in order to take her away, as this couple was going to put her down for no good reason, other than they didn’t want to be bothered with her. (Some people should not be allowed to own animals.)

When I first met her, it took her about 10 minutes before she trusted me enough to come close, and I still had to be careful not to make any sudden movements. But once she calmed down and decided I was OK, she slobbered me with big, wet doggy kisses. The second time I saw her, she greeted me like an old friend and more wet doggy kisses.

She is good with children and with other dogs. She loves to play with her doggie brother and sister and loves to play with her ball. She is crate trained and house broken (although please don’t leave her in her crate for days at a time like her previous owner).

She has a lot of spirit and you can just tell she wants to trust you and love you but she is just so frightened of everyone. She is doing well at the neighbors who are fostering her. It took her about 4-5 days to trust the man of the house but now is fine with him, so she will able to adjust to another man with time and patience.

She is a couch potato and loves to sleep in bed with her foster mom and dad.

Visitors are always welcome, by appointment only.
