Claire comes to Payton’s Place from a commercial breeder in the area that
is closing its doors. She is the sister of Brock and Ike. She is 10
months old, blue, with natural ears and a docked tail. She hasn’t been
socialized very well and is timid, but she is coming around. She is
learning to enjoy pets and scratches, and is beginning to approach
people in order to receive affection. She should prove to be a loving
pet once she has gotten used to people. UPDATE: Claire is making excellent progress with her socialization. In fact, she is turning into a cuddle bug. She seems to have a naturally outgoing personality that is now emerging. She is blooming like a flower. She continues to enjoy her walks. She is able to approach strangers happily and without fear, and seeks affection from them. She even gives kisses. She is ready to go to a home, provided her new people will continue to socialize her. Visitors are always welcome, by appointment only. NOTE: An adoption application MUST be submitted in order to be considered to adopt a dog through our program. |
