Hello, I am Drew, and I am looking for my true, forever home. I’m a young
guy, just a year old. As you can see, I am very handsome. I am black
with rust markings, my tail is docked, and my ears are cropped. I used
to have a home, but it wasn’t a very nice one. I was either indoors in a
crate (with a muzzle on, can you believe that?!) or tied to a tree when
I was outside. I did not have much fun. Some nice people at the shelter
took me in, then they sent me to a “rescue” so they could help other
dogs. This rescue place is OK—they feed me here! I’m skinny, but they
say they will fix that. They say they will fix something else, too, but
I don’t know what that means. I liked riding in the rescue lady’s car.
She said I was a good boy. I am not perfect, but nobody ever taught me
anything. I am willing to learn, though. I love to get petted, and I
like nice people, that’s for sure! If you take me home, and take me to
obedience class, I am sure you will think I am a very fine dog. Visitors are always welcome, by appointment only. NOTE: An adoption application MUST be submitted in order to be considered to adopt a dog through our program. |
