Meet Jackie! He is a blue boy about 18 months old, with a nice coat. His
tail is docked and his ears
are “flopped”—they were cropped but don’t stand. Jackie is small for a male
Doberman, and would
be a good choice for someone who doesn’t want a huge dog. He is sweet
tempered, enjoys
leaning on the nearest human, and rides well in the car. He is energetic,
as befits his youth. He loves
to play, but he is too rough for small dogs or very young children. He
should be fine with older kids
and larger dogs. Jackie would benefit from structured obedience training,
and needs exercise to help
use up his youthful energy. He will be a lively, fun companion for an
household.
Visitors are always welcome, by appointment only.
NOTE: An adoption application MUST be submitted in order
to be considered to adopt a dog through our program.
