What a sweet face! Duncan was an owner surrender in North Carolina due to
money issues. He is heartworm positive. His owners were unable to give
him preventive medicine. Apparently they couldnt afford food either, as
he was very thin when he came to us. He is now putting on weight. Duncan
is 5 years old but acts much younger. He is black and rust, with a
docked tail and natural ears. He is fine with cats. We think he is dog
friendly. We will testing him once he is done with his heartworm
treatment and is allowed to play. Duncan is a great traveler, too! He
had an adventure getting to us, taking a plane right from NC to WV then
several car rides to his foster home. Duncan loves all people and just
needs a family to love him back Update: Duncan has completed his heartworm treatment and is now heartworm negative and ready for his new home! Visitors are always welcome, by appointment only. NOTE: An adoption application MUST be submitted in order to be considered to adopt a dog through our program. |
