Meet Frankie! He is about 3 years old, red, with natural ears and a docked
tail. He comes to us from a shelter where he was taken as a stray. His
owners were located, but they decided they didn't want him back. This is
a good thing, as they did not take good care of Frankie and he is better
off without them. Frankie is a wonderful, mellow boy. He adores people
and wants nothing more than to be petted. He endures discomfort well,
and tolerates all sorts of handling without complaint. He likes other
dogs. Right now he is in foster care, and his foster mom has been
teaching him to get along with her cat. He will make an excellent family
pet and would be a fine therapy or assistance dog. Frankie would be
suitable for a first-time Dobe owner Visitors are always welcome, by appointment only. If you are interested in meeting him, please let us know so that arrangements can be made with the foster home. NOTE: An adoption application MUST be submitted in order to be considered to adopt a dog through our program. |
