Say hello to Hank! He is around 3 years old. He has a docked tail and
“flopped” ears (cropped, but they don’t stand). He is black with rust
markings. He comes to us via an Indiana shelter. He was brought there as
a stray by some folks who kept him for a week but then decided they
didn’t want him. He is very thin and has missed quite a few meals
recently. Nevertheless, he is very gentle taking treats and even really
yummy stuff such as leftover lunchmeat. He is very affectionate and
trusting, and has never met a stranger. We don’t know how he is with
other dogs or cats yet, but will post more once we get to know him
better. Visitors are always welcome, by appointment only. NOTE: An adoption application MUST be submitted in order to be considered to adopt a dog through our program. |
