Jasper - Special Needs - Adopted

Meet Jasper, our newest little guy. He was born on November 2, 2010 and boy is he cute, temperament as well as looks. He is an owner surrender because he has some medical issues, including VonWillebrand's Disease (a bleeding disorder) http://www.peteducation.com/article.cfm?c=2+2101&aid=488  He is currently under observation through a specialist to try and determine what is truly wrong with him. It has been recommended that we do an MRI to determine the exact problem, however an MRI will cost over $1000. We are in the process of trying to raise the funds necessary to have the MRI. He is on restricted activities for now as well. Otherwise, he is a typical puppy and loves to play with anyone who will play with him. He loves to play with cats in his foster home, though not sure they always want to play with him. He's a typical sweet and goofy little red boy and absolutely adorable!

Update:
Thank you to everyone that donated to the cost of Jasper's MRI. We raised all the money that was needed and then some! Jasper has an inoperable  fluid filled cyst on his spinal cord. He will be able to live a happy, healthy normal life, other than his high stepping silly front legs!

Visitors are always welcome, by appointment only.

NOTE: An adoption application MUST be submitted in order to be considered to adopt a dog through our program.
