Well, we have half the skipping duo you might remember from the Milwaukee
bottling plant. Here's Laverne! Laverne was brought to us by a good
Samaritan veterinarian. This veterinarian actually crossed paths with
Laverne earlier in her life because she had been hit by a car and had
extensive injuries to her right forelimb. She recovered from her injuries
quite well and experiences no pain, but she does walk a little funny and
she will occasionally lick her leg due to numbness. Laverne is
approximately 7 years old, sweet beautiful red dober girl with cropped
ears and docked tail. Her ears do not stand all of the time, but when she
is interested in something they can be quite impressive. Laverne likes
other dogs, cats and kids. She also likes to have her teeth brushed,
enjoys laying in a baby pool and loves to sleep on the couch. Do you have
a couch for Laverne to sleep on? Visitors are always welcome, by appointment only. NOTE: An adoption application MUST be submitted in order to be considered to adopt a dog through our program. |
