Otto - Adopted

Otto is a sweet gentle big boy. When he came to us from the East coast as a stray, he was only 61 lbs on about an 80 lb frame. He had bad lick granulomas on his two from wrists and a growth. Now he's gaining weight, lick granulomas are almost healed and he has adjusted very well. He gets along with all the dober kids in the house, male or female, ignores both the cats and the bird. He enjoys a comfy dog bed in the evenings, does well in a crate and has really liked learning what Nylabones are. He should do well in most families including kids that are used to large dogs. We will be having the growth on his wrist removed prior to his adoption.

UPDATE: Otto has had the growth removed on his wrist and is recovering well, though he's not fond of his temporary splint (see pic). However, it should be removed soon and he will be ready for his forever home!

Visitors are always welcome, by appointment only.

NOTE: An adoption application MUST be submitted in order to be considered to adopt a dog through our program.
