Sako - Adopted

Sako came to us as an owner surrender. They had gotten him from a Craigslist ad and he was not doing well in their home. He was so starved for attention and he did not want them out of his sights. When they would leave him alone he would get really upset (translation he had separation anxiety and he would tear things up); therefore he will likely need to be crate trained. The new owners only had him for 2 weeks. He's about 2 years old, fawn with cropped ears and a docked tail and we're not sure if he's been around kids or not. He has not been tested with other dogs yet as he's still trying to adjust and needs lots of meals; however, we anticipate that he will be fine with other dogs.

Update: Sako is doing well and has gained weight and is looking much better. He probably will not do well in a household with kitties but he should do fine with the right female siblings.

Visitors are always welcome, by appointment only.

NOTE: An adoption application MUST be submitted in order to be considered to adopt a dog through our program.
