This pretty little red girl is Sophie and she is about a year old. She
was found running stray and completely emaciated; picked up by an animal
control officer who adopted her and brought her back to a healthy weight.
She was unable to keep her and gave her to us to find her forever home.
She has not had much guidance in her short life and is working on her
manners in her foster home. She is learning quickly in her foster home
but is a very energetic girl, like the puppy that she still is, and will
continue to need consistent training in her forever home. She LOVES to
play with other dogs and would do best with another dog who matches her
energy level. She gets along with dog-smart cats but would chase if the
cat ran--always wanting to play. She may be a little too playful for
small children but would be fine with older children. She is a very sweet
girl who should adapt well with consistent structure in her forever home. Visitors are always welcome, by appointment only. NOTE: An adoption application MUST be submitted in order to be considered to adopt a dog through our program. |
