Stanley

Meet Stanley! He is a stray from the pound. He is young--anywhere from a year to a year and half old. He is very tall and thin, partly because he is still a little underweight, and partly because he is at that gangly age. He will fill out as he gets older. He is black and rust, with a docked tail. His ears are cropped but “flopped,” and they fit his personality. He is a sweet, silly, puppy. Stanley is in foster care learning to be civilized. He is crate trained. He knows that he must sit for treats. His foster mom is teaching him not to jump up. He is cat friendly and seems to be other dog friendly. He didn't have much of a reaction to a very large mastiff at the pound that was barking and growling at him. He likes to chew on his Nylabone. Stanley is going to make a great dog for almost anyone. He is not a good fit for smaller children or frail individuals because of his size and age; he doesn't know how big he is. He means no harm to anyone, and would be fine with grade-school-age and above.

Visitors are always welcome, by appointment only.
