Toby - Adopted

Toby came to us from a local shelter where he was found stray. He is a sweet dober kid and loves to play. He is approximately 2-3 years old, black/tan with natural ears. He has tested heartworm positive and has begun his treatments and will need to be kept calm and leash walked. Heartworms is a very serious illness and Toby has had them for a while so we hope that he does well and recovers well. Heartworms is a life threatening illness if left not treated, so Toby is very lucky to have made his way to us.

UPDATE: Toby has completed his heartworm treatment and is a sweet boy. He is a typical Dober boy who loves attention, wants to be with people and has a Dober lean. He loves to chew on his Nylabones, is crate trained and, although doing well in his foster home, would love his own forever home and forever family. He has been out in the community and LOVED all the people and kids. He gets along very well with a male Boston Terrier in his foster home. He would chase the cat if it ran but otherwise gets along with the cat.

Heartworm treatment is very expensive, so please consider donating to his care.
SND Doberman's is also assisting in his care. Please visit the below links to view his case.
