| Meet Axel—a red
pup with a horrible case of demodex!!! He's about 5 1/2 months old and is
going to be a big boy. He has a docked tail and natural ears. He is in
foster care and is being treated for the demodex. (It is not contagious.)
He should be quite a handsome fellow once his skin and coat are restored to
health. Axel loves other dogs, kids (his human foster sister is 5), and is
ok with cats. His foster mom says he is very busy and energetic. His foster
home is out of town, so if you would like to meet him, let us know ahead of
time Visitors are always welcome, by appointment only. NOTE: An adoption application MUST be submitted in order to be considered to adopt a dog through our program. |
