Southwest Ohio Doberman Rescue is a non-profit organization with 501(c)(3) status. We are an all-volunteer group and operate solely on donations and our own fundraising activities. 100% of all contributions go directly to the rescue, care & placement of the dogs. There are many ways you can help Southwest Ohio Doberman Rescue – volunteering your time or specific talent, fostering a dog, item donations, and of course, monetary donations. The average vet bill per dog is $225, but many dogs require much more than “average” care by the time they get to us. Heartworm treatment alone can cost over $600.
